How Your Donations Are Invested 💜

Here's how we invest your donations in the women & children we support:

- Provide access to basic essentials while in crisis accommodation
- Build & provide long-term & transitional housing
- Provide therapeutic, trauma-informed activities and programs
- Give wraparound support like counselling & legal advice
- Provide 24-hour onsite care in crisis accommodation
- Offer counselling and referrals to other services and for women we turn away.

We urgently need your help to create safety & stability for women and children.

Please, give generously.

Therapeutic, trauma-informed activities & programs

Every woman and child who comes to us is unique, with different needs, hopes & dreams for the future.
It is only through donations that we can listen to each woman and offer tailored therapeutic programs to promote wellbeing, enhance self-esteem, build confidence, & empowerment.
Only through donations can we offer spots, movie nights, cooking, art, mindfulness, discos, after-school and school holiday activities.

Long-term & transitional housing (Isabel & Elsie)

In 2022, we embarked on an ambitious project to build 25 new long-term homes for women & children to create additional affordable housing pathways & help alleviate the bottleneck in our services.
In March 2024, we proudly unveiled our first two homes – ‘Isabel’ and ‘Elsie’.
These 2-bedroom homes are sustainable, low maintenance, & incorporate trauma-informed design to ensure safety, respect, & community connection.

Wraparound, individualised support

It is only through the help of people like you that we can offer vital, individualised support to women and children who seek assistance from us.
While staying in crisis accommodation or transitional housing, women can access counselling & legal advice with us, to help them navigate.
We have someone onsite 24-hours a day, 7 days a week, to ensure everyone feels safe & supported in our community. Through donations, we can provide access basic essentials while a woman is in crisis accommodation - from pantry staples, to clothing, bedding & nappies.
Unfortunately, we are having to turn away 9 in 10 women who approach us for help due to lack of capacity, but we can now provide referrals to other services based on the woman's needs.
