The Hobart Women's Shelter (HWS) aims to empower women and children to lead independent and fulfilling lives. Our vision is to create a safe and inclusive community free from homelessness, violence, inequality and injustice. We are a not for profit organisation providing accommodation and support to women and children experiencing homelessness and/or family violence.
HWS is seeking forward-thinking and motivated individuals to join its Volunteer Board.
We are now seeking interest from experienced and interested individuals in the following areas:
• Accounts/finance
• Housing
• Marketing and Communications
• Trauma Informed Practice
• Legal

Hobart Women's Shelter provides safe, emergency accommodation and support to women and children affected by family violence and/or those experiencing homelessness.
